Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS), once more, underwent a surveillance audit for ISO 9001:2015 certification carried out by the leading certification enterprise, TUV SUD Indonesia. For now, it presented Mr. Bustanul Arifin as the auditor. The agenda is a re-check following last year official certification of International Standard Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 (15/06).
The surveillance audit aims to ensure that the quality management system at Thursina IIBS remains persistent based on established international standards. The auditor carried out a review for all levels; from the Education, Relations & Enrollment (REO), Finance, Smart Campus, Human Capital Management (HCM) and Thursina International Office units, including school operational aspects (the learning process, administration, and services for students and parents). The review also involved minor findings noted in the previous audit, in mid-June 2023, plus interviews with staff, teachers, and direct observations of programs or services at Thursina.
Management Representative of Thursina IIBS, Ustadzah Harismaning Aulia, M.Sc, stated that the audit is substantial part to continue escalating the quality of education and services. "We are committed to provide the best for students and parents relentlessly. With the surveillance, we can ensure that our quality standards are maintained and even continue to improve," he said.
Thursina IIBS, certified with ISO 9001:2015 in 2023, has showed implementation of effective and efficient quality management system. It is proof that Thursina IIBS has satisfied the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
Located in Harvard Hall, the agenda was attended by the Chairman of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz M. Ali Wahyudi, M.Pd, Senior Advisor (Ustadzah Sumi Rahayu, M.M), all chiefs, principals, vice principals, deputies and managers from each unit.
The team supposed the results of surveillance audit would bestow valuable input for its continuous improvement. "Hopefully, all the process would be a joint effort to advance outstanding quality education based on international standards, therefore it equips students with the skills and knowledge required to meet the future challenges," concluded Ustadzah Risma.
