Thursina Excellence Award 2024: Appreciation for Outstanding Teachers and Staffs
Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) once again held the Thursina Excellence Award, an annual program intended to reward teachers and staffs for their dedication and contribution. The event included various award categories: Thursina Education Achiever Award, Inobel for Dormitory Educator, Non-Academic Award, The Most Caring Educator and The Best Educator Awards.
In addition, 21 teachers and staffs, serving for a decade received the Decade Loyalty Award, a silver pin as a symbol of 10 years of dedication.
The chairman of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Dr. Muhammad Ali Wahyudi, emphasized that the initial success of Thursina's establishment has owed to the significant role of loyalty and hard work of the teachers and staffs who supported it from the start. He stated, their dedication has become a basis for the growth and advancement of the institution to date.
"We appreciated five personels who have shown total dedication through the Most Dedicated Award. It is recognition for their intense involvement, working wholeheartedly and inspiring others to give their best," said Ustadz Ali on 5 January.
He added, as deep appreciation, Thursina awarded with Umrah trips to the five awardees. "God willing, they will go on Umrah after Ramadan 2025. Hopefully, this award will inspire the entire team to contribute and bring blessings in every single step," he concluded.
The CEO of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Nur Abidin, M.Ed., stated that the award is not a final achievement, but the first stage to advance and contribute more widely. It aims to encourage each personnel in Thursina to improve their capabilities and inspire others through their best performance.
"Make this award an inspiration to encourage others," he said enthusiastically. Ustadz Abidin, furthermore, underlined the import of sustainable spirit of innovation and professionalism to support Thursina's big vision towards a Center of Excellence.
"We hope the award would instill the values of dedication, collaboration and sustainability in all teachers and staffs, therefore they excel individually and create positive impact on the institution and society as well," he concluded.
Chief of Human Capital Management, Ustadzah Hilmia Wardhani, M.Pd., explained that Thursina Excellence Award is a great appreciation from the institution to all educators and staffs who have shown dedication, hard work and spirit of innovation in various fields. It is not only a symbol of respect for their involvement, but also a reminder of the power of building a collaborative and excellence-oriented work culture.
“The Thursina Excellence Award reflects genuine appreciation for the hard work and innovative spirit of the entire team. "This award is a crucial step to support the atmosphere of excellent educational ecosystem, in line with Thursina's big vision," she said. Meanwhile, Thursina IIBS Senior Advisor, Mrs. Sumi Rahayu, delivered in-depth message about the significance of continuous improvement in every aspect of life. She conveyed that success is not only measured by the results achieved, but also the constant process of accomplishing the finer.
“With love, we would find wisdom in every occurance, even in challenges. We are boosted to make improvements for mutual progress," she said. An approach based on love and wisdom would build harmony and promote sustainable growth, both for individuals and institutions.
