"Seeing, reading, remembering, and reviewing are four steps to memorise Al Quran. The ability to memorise is not instantly installed, however, it has to run in several steps," KH. Deden Muhammad Makhyaruddin, M.A explained in his speech in front of all students of Tazkia IIBS.
KH. Deden Muhammad Makhyaruddin, M.A is a Chairman of Indonesia Murajaah Foundation, supporting students of Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) to memorise Al Quran, on Friday (8/23).
The difficulty in memorizing Al Quran will be rewarded though. Ustadz Deden stated, some students might be hard to memorise, yet, it is not a mistake. The hardiness means a lingering chance in act of kindness.
There are two ways to review, he said. Firstly, with tathkir : repeating the recitation quickly in mind to keep it from absence. Secondly, with Tandzir : (seeing) reviewing unfluent verses.
Furthermore, one of the virtues of reading and memorizing Al Quran opens the door of knowledge. Rumination on meaning when reading and memorizing Alquran is very crucial because it will ease the reader in understanding knowledge as told in Ibnu Sina story.
Ustadz Deden conveyed some stages, required to be prepared in memorising Al Quran. First, believing and focusing to the point will be read, as well as concentrating on it. Everyone has its own level and way to be concentrated.
"Another way, consideration of Al Quran verses that already memorised. The verses can be reflected and applied in the daily life," he added.
