It was the seventh Tazkia Award and Full Scholarship Program for The Orphans offered by Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) on Sunday (12/15), 2019, spending 170 million rupiahs totally.

The manager of new student enrolment (PSB), Ustadz Qoirul Mansur Darojat, M. Pd, stated, the program has targeted underprivilaged achiever orphans. The achievement will be considered together with  the test result. "The school fee and living cost for three years are covered," he says.

Attended by 44 candidates of students from all over East Java province, the scholarship is part of Tazkia IIBS Malang commitment to contribute in society.

The program, running from the beginning of Tazkia IIBS launch, is regularly granted in each school year. From 2014 until recently, 10 percent of Tazkia IIBS students in every class are the scholarship awardees. "If the student has already granted with the scholarship since junior high school, he will be automatically registered in the same scheme for his following level of senior high school," he said.

Examined by some materials such as Al Quran, academic potential test, interview and psychological test, the program has been aimed for students of grade 4, 5, 6 of primary school and third grade of junior high school.

The requirement is quite easy to be completed. Undeprivilaged orphans proved by confirmation letter from local village office. Moreover, the candidate of awardee is not allowed to accept other scholarships from an institution or individual during ongoing scholarship.

"Additional points are for the candidate with achievement in particular field or memorising Al Quran proved by certificate," he added in detail.

Tazkia hopes to have quranic generation based on vision and mission of the institution. Creating broad-minded generation and memorizer of Quran is the goal of all.
