Strengthening its Educational Network, Tazkia IIBS Starts to Engage a Collaboration With Al Ikhlas in Cambridge Curriculum
Tazkia International Islamic Boarding (IIBS) collaborates with educational institution in cambridge curriculum again, this time with Al Ikhlas Boarding School Rembang Pasuruan. As the commitment of Tazkia IIBS in academics, it is for the second time following the first one with Al Ikhlas Boarding School Taliwang.
The Coordinator of Tazkia Cambridge Center, Ustadz Muhammad Rasyid Husnul Waro'i said, besides becoming the center of Cambridge curriculum, Tazkia IIBS would like to spread out Islamic mission to many Islamic educational institutions. "If God will, the curriculum will be implemented in new school year of 2019," he stated.
Ustadz Rasyid told that before the agreement was signed, Tazkia IIBS explained the urgency of cambridge curriculum and management system of international boarding school.
"We need to deliver it initially because Tazkia IIBS will supervise closely related cambridge curriculum implementation," he said.
We also supervise the teachers, including talents mapping and briefing. This is one of the methods to transform Al Ikhlas Boarding School Rembang Pasuruan to be educational institution with international basis. It is supposed the alumni could continue their study to any reputable universities in various countries.
"Tazkia IIBS as the executive center of Cambridge Curriculum in Indonesia will guide the boarding school to implement the curriculum independently. Even, more than that, to be the next cambridge center," he added.
The course materials in cambridge curriculum consist of mathematics, english language and science for junior high school, and for the senior, there are two additional courses for minimum five courses, geography and multimedia.
"There are 40 courses for senior high school actually, however, it can be selected only 5 courses and for the junior only 3 courses to be examined then those who passed the test can have certificate equal with Cambridge certificate and enable to continue their higher education overseas," Ustadz Rasyid explained.
