Signing MoU with UAD, Thursina IIBS Expands Collaboration with Reputable Universities
Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) and Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), Yogyakarta have signed an agreement of cooperation aimed at collaboration in various fields, including education, research, community service and resource development, on last Friday (24/11).
"Certainly, it opens up wide opportunities for students to continue studying at the best universities in the country. "There will be more opportunities for Thursina students to achieve in the future" said Ustadz Ali Syihabudin, M. Pd as the school principal.
Other collaborations are related to the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education. Both parties would exchange information on activities related to education and teaching, research and development, and community service. College students could apply internships and practice at Thursina IIBS, while students of high school could learn from lecturers or practitioners. Furthermore, Thursina IIBS students are welcome to visit Ahmad Dahlan University.
The scope of partnership covers some aspects, from formal education to human resource development. Through this, both Thursina IIBS and UAD would share knowledge and experience to improve the quality of education and services to the community.
Meanwhile, Ustadz Syihab, the Principal of Thursina International Islamic Boarding School, added, "We are delighted to run this collaboration with UAD. We are confident that the program would contribute positively to the development of education and services within community."
By signing the agreement, Thursina IIBS and UAD confirm their commitment to collaborate fostering the quality of education, conduct useful research, and provide community service that would have positive impact on all parties involved. (lil)
