Thursina IIBS Students Brought Home 39 POSI Medals in A Strike of Brilliance
Students of Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) made great achievements at the 2024 Science Olympiad Competition of Indonesia (POSI). In this prestigious event, Thursina IIBS brought home a total of 39 medals with 24 bronzes, 7 silvers, and 8 golds.
This brilliant accomplishment is a result of their hard work and dedication in facing challenges in the field of science. Through participating in POSI, these students had the opportunity to hone their skills and potential in a strict competition.
Ustadz Bryan Yustiadi, a teacher at Thursina IIBS, emphasized that the students' participation in POSI is not merely a competitive event; it also serves as a preparation for them before advancing to the next stage, the District Level Science Olympiad (OSK). He believed that POSI is a crucial opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of competition and further prepare them for the larger challenges they will encounter at OSK.
“POSI is a competition that served as a preparation stage for these students before moving forward to the District Level Science Olympiad (OSK). Through POSI, students were trained and prepped to advance to OSK later,” explained Ustadz Bryan Yustiadi.
The outstanding achievements of these students in POSI 2024 hopefully will inspire other young generations to continue to excel and contribute to the field of science for the advancement of our nation.
