Safa Nadhira Azzahra: Aspiring to be an Architect Who Memorises the Quran
As the youngest child in her family, Safa Nadhira Azzahra, has succeeded to prove her independence as the best female student in graduation of Tazkia l High School on Saturday, July 18 2020. Other 277 graduates were also inaugurated in the virtual ceremony. Although experiencing minor adjustment problem initially, she has endeavoured to stay at Tazkia.
For her, Tazkia is love in the first sight. She was in the fifth grade when firstly coming to Tazkia for Quran and Language Festival. The beautiful atmosphere of Tazkia and friendliness of students have impressed her deeply. Since then, she decided to study in Tazkia for her continuing education in Junior School.
She admitted having little adjustment problems mainly friendship. Staying far away from parents and having to do all housework herself often made her down and afraid. However, along with many activities carried out together, now she has enjoyed togetherness and friendship in boarding school. All teachers, who always support and motivate her, help a lot in adaptation phase, therefore this process could be shorter and she has been comfortable to follow the rythm of tight schedule in boarding school.
"Exam preparation period was unforgettable for me, moreover for tahfidz exam, which needs more preparation compared with other assessments," said the student who had been the chief of internal organisation of Tazkia Student Association (TSA).
The girl, coming from Malang city, also told that she had to try hard to learn for cambridge examination besides familiarising herself understanding english exercises. However, it turned into success and led her to be the top three of Cambridge Checkpoint exam.
"I want to be Safa who can make my parents proud of me and tries hard to make today better than yesterday," she said.
The convenience at Tazkia has made her decides to continue studying in Tazkia Senior High School. Furthermore, she would like to memorise Quran in Tazkia with the main target, memorising 30 juz of Al Quran.
In senior school, she would begin to catch her dream to be an architect and Hafidzah. "I will consider to take a major in professional or CEO because I have some goals to aim at in other three years" she told when asked about the major.
The daughter of Syamsu Rahmadi and Neni Kusumawardani thanked and praised all teachers for supervising her, moreover with his shy nature. She supposes to develop herself and to be more active student. Also, she advises the juniors to attempt to be better version than themselves yesterday and their friends
"Living in Tazkia is like riding a roller coaster, nevertheless I have learned a lot," she told.
