Road to Study Abroad: In Collaboration with IIUM, Tazkia IIBS students have the Opportunity to get Full Scholarships
Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) has initiated to work with some Asian universities and signed agreement to prepare continuing education for its alumni.
Following several visitations and agreements in colleges, Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Tazkia IIBS visited International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Saturday (8/17).
Some points were discussed by two institutions. Under supervision of Tazkia International Partnership (TIP), Ustadz Ahmad Fanani as Asia Deputy stated, Tazkia IIBS and IIUM have some projects to be set up before higher education collaboration.
"The projects were referred to invitation to International Conference of Muslim Youth Empowerment and Character Building and other agenda supporting the need of Tazkia IIBS students," he added.
Not only were students benefited from this joint work, Ustadz Fanani continued, teachers would be trained for individual development as well. "Teacher exchange might be scheduled, to gain international experience," he said.
Ustadz Fanani told that IIUM will provide scholarship, considering to score in each semester. Besides, students of Tazkia IIBS might enroll directly to The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) Scholarship. On top of that, they can get full scholarship by enrolling in Iqra Scholarship program. "It is full scholarship from first to last semester," he explained more detailed.
The bilateral intimate meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Amir Akramin B. Shafie as The Director of International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Aisha Hassan Abdullah Hashim as Director Deputy of International Affairs and Wan Syarinar Wan Ibrahim as Assistant of International Affairs.
"With those efforts, Tazkia IIBS manages to offer and prepare its alumni to better education level. I suppose prayer and support from all parties," he hopes.
