Management Regeneration, Tazkia IIBS Held General Election of TSA 2020

Tazkia Student Association (TSA) held general election with new spirit in pandemic era. This annual agenda, followed by all students virtually, aimed to select the candidates of president, chief 1 and 2 of TSA for 2021-2022  school year period on 11-15 of October 2020. Tazkia and TSA are trying to revive the spirit of organisation of students in the midst of pandemic through this event.

   

The supervisor of female TSA, Ustadzah Ika Dewi Sumiati, S.Pd., explained that there are some criteria to determine the candidate for each position. Generally, leadership and responsibility become the main criteria besides the implementation of RECODING (Religious, Care, Open Minded, Leading) value of Tazkia. They also need to have full commitment and high nurturing as well as excellent communication skill.

   

"There are some stages to pass the election, including recruitment, psychological test, and interview," Ustadzah Ika says.

Two selected candidates for each position should upload their campaign videos on TSA instagram account  @tsafemale and @tsamale followed by oration and candidate debate in the following day. Afterwards, the virtual election was held on 15 of October 2020.

   

"We are trying to maintain the procedure as it runs normally with some adjustment according to the situation, condition, and need of students," she said.

Voting results will be delivered to the plenary meeting to be discussed and managed to form the new board management of TSA. The meeting will involve the headmaster, deputy of student section, supervisor of TSA, and the former management of TSA.

   

The result of plenary meeting will be announced in the workshop, attended by all new management of TSA, supervisor and the deputy of student section. It will be an event to introduce each other and to explain job description for each division.

"Hopefully, the selected candidates would be responsible in their new positions, humble and well-cooperating to develop creative and innovative programmes.
