Thursina IIBS Joins Hand with UNESA in an Effort to Expand University Partnerships

Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) officially signed a partnership agreement with the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) on February 1. This partnership covers a variety of fields around education, research, and social services. With the spirit of synergy, both parties hope this partnership could optimize their resources and contribute to regional development through the values of University Tri Dharma.

Principal of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Rois Haqiqi, M.Pd., emphasized the importance of this partnership in strengthening the bond between Islamic educational institutions and universities in Indonesia. “We are committed to combine our efforts in enhancing the quality of education, research, and social services,” he declared.

In his address, Ustadz Rois Haqiqi stressed that this partnership goes way beyond a mere formality. This partnership is a manifestation of both parties’ commitment on creating a quality and inclusive ecosystem of education. “This university partnership also serves as a facility that we provide for our Thursina IIBS high school students,” he added.

UNESA is not the only university that has joined hands with Thursina IIBS in a partnership. Previously, Thursina IIBS had also partnered and collaborated with several other universities to provide a diverse option for Thursina IIBS High School students looking to pursue their further education.

Ustadz Rois also expressed both parties’ hope that this partnership can facilitate the birth of innovative solutions that can positively impact the development of education and research in Indonesia.
