Strengthening International Network: Thursina IIBS Signs MoU with Kisarazu Sohgoh High School and Yuai International Islamic School, Japan

Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) is once again expanding its international education network, collaborating with Kisarazu Sohgoh High School in Chiba Prefecture and Yuai International Islamic School, Japan. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been effective since early January 2025. Both schools are committed to advancing the global insight of students with some collaborative programs.

Ustadzah Khusnul Ifada, MA., the manager of International Students and Teachers, stated that Thursina IIBS has collaborated with various well-known campuses abroad. On different occasion, Thursina IIBS has spreaded its wings in Senior High Schools in Japan. The value of collaboration is offered entirely to the students. "Thursina IIBS students are able to find full information from Kisarazu Sohgoh High School and Yuai International Islamic School, especially those who would like to study in Japan," she said. Several points of the MoU state that the agreement among Thursina IIBS, Kisarazu Sohgoh High School and Yuai International Islamic School is to become partner schools to share information about their excellent programs.

In addition, they have concured on providing recommendations to students who wish to study in Japan and vice versa. Inter-school also accepts visits for several programs. In Thursina, indeed, one of the most awaited activities for students is the overseas visit program, designed to offer direct learning experiences to students in foreign countries. The cooperation of Thursina IIBS with Kisarazu Sohgoh High School and Yuai International Islamic School is certainly a golden opportunity, adding the preference of visits in Japan. "In Kisarazu, we collaborate with high school and university. Another one, YUAI, is an Islamic school in Japan. It is rare to find Islamic high school there," added Ustadzah Khusnul.

She hopes the partnership would improve the quality of school education, both in practices and experiences. Diversity in language, culture and others would grow emphaty and tolerance as they are more aware to global moral attitude. As a result, they would take a role in resolving universal issues, such as the environment, health and Human Rights (HAM). "Hopefully, career opportunities for students will me more open with the development and innovation as Thursina IIBS fully supports international professional networks," concluded Ustadzah Khusnul.
