The Opening of Girls' O-Week 6.3, Excitements of Being Discipline and Creative
Creativity, discipline and togetherness must be encouraged from early years by various methods. One of them is managing activities with those values within.
The series of Orientation Week (O-Week) 6.3 is an agenda of Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) to raise desirable qualities. Ustadz Maulidan Asyrofil Anam, S. Si, a coordinator of O-Week 6.3, stated that the event is a medium to institute student discipline.
"O-Week, took place on 22-27 of July 2019, was formulated with moral principles. Discipline, creativity, and favourable behaviour in daily activity have to be built since early time," he, a teacher and supervisor of Tazkia Student Association (TSA), said.
The older students play an essential role in the arrival of new students as in the past when Anshor tribe welcomed Muhajirin. That is how new and old students relate. The second could be a good model for the first. Moreover, welcome and supervision of the seniors are required.
"Senior high school students are obliged to supervise the younger, furthermore, they are role models for their juniors," he told.
O-Week 6.3 is special because TSA plays a vital role as manager of this event thus student can learn about teamwork, organisation, and so on. "We provide students in TSA a chance to manage the whole event," he explained.
O-Week series also completed by Khutbatul 'Arsy delivered by The Chairman of Tazkia IIBS, Ustadz Ali Wahyudi, M. Pd and CEO of Tazkia, Ustadz Nur Abidin, M. Ed.
To close the agenda will be held an outdoor activity and class union, Ustadz Asyrof said. "O-Week was designed to be fully-scheduled therefore new students enjoy the moments and dismiss memories about home," he ended.
