Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) focusing on boarding school program for high school and offering typical programs to prepare its students to higher education either domestic or overseas universities. Many colleges have shown great interest in what programs the school has prepared for specific purposes.

On Wednesday (02/13), students and The Headmaster of Junior High School 13 Al Azhar Surabaya visited Tazkia IIBS to share experiences in education field. After the arrival, the group of Al Azhar walked around the campus  and observed some facilities in Tazkia IIBS.

Opening agenda held in Alexandria building by the speech from The Headmaster of Junior High School 13 Al Azhar, Ustadz Sifa Al Huda, S.Ag. He said that Al Azhar focusing on some programs for kindergarten, primary and junior high schools. "In the future, we will try to manage senior high school program, therefore, we would like to learn about how Tazkia IIBS implements its curriculum," he said.

Subsequently, Ustadz Imam Behaqi, S.Kom as IT Director and Campus as well as representative of Tazkia IIBS explained about curriculum applied. Junior high school curriculum focusing on five programs, including Al Quran program, students learn to understand and memorise Al Quran up to 7 juz for juniors and 12 juz for seniors.

The second program concerned on boarding school program, Tazkia has collaborated with Al Azhar Cairgo thus the materials refer to its programs. Following by National Curriculum (Diknas) and International (Cambridge). The next is practice of bilingual daily language, Arabic and English.

Meanwhile, senior high school curriculum focusing on character building to prepare students selecting major after graduated.

Counselling with psychology team of Tazkia is the first step, following by majoring test, to consultation session with parents. Majoring programs in senior high school are, Ulama, Sciencepreneur, Enterpreneur, CEO and Professional.

Tazkia conceivers are experienced in education for 20 years, therefore they design new curriculum different from other schools. Eventhough the inspiration has come from non-muslim school, Tazkia supposes Islamic school is able to develop great educational curriculum and be excellent.
