Competing in WYF 2024, Thursina IIBS Scholars Secured 4 Champions at Once
Thursina IIBS students have achieved brilliantly in the World Youth Festival 2024, held on 5-8 of October in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As many as 18 students, divided into two teams, were delegated, each of whom initiated creative innovations, attracting the attention of the judges.
The first team, including Hasbi Ilman, Luthfi Amrullah, Atthaya Einosa, Dhiya Arrafa, Fathir Alim, Istna Hasan, Dzaky Firman, Ghafiqi Husein, Rizky Albari, and Al Madhany, introduced the idea of "EDULINC". A platform, specifically designed to help students in developing academic and personal skills, offers some materials to learn, such as leadership and communication skills, also the basics of management strategy," said Luthfi Amrullah, one of the team members.
Meanwhile, the second team promoted "BOTANIQ", a smart pot to ease users caring their indoor plants. It is made from recycled materials and equipped with sensors and AI to measure soil moisture, light and temperature. "Botaniq is completed with integrated application as well, to remain and suggest the user with some tips of plant care in a simple and environmentally friendly way," explained Farrel Naufal as a team leader.
The great innovation led both teams to earn several awards. The EDULINC team succeeded in The Most Favorite Group. Furthermore, the BOTANIQ team, consisting of Farrel Naufal Pramono, Fadhil Lintang, M. Husain Ali, Alfa Basmana L, Bima Athaya M, Alif Cryptovan Sinaga, ASfrand M. Farrazan, and Kyran Zuhdi W was selected for the top 1 of Business Idea Competition and The Best Group.
Additionally, Athayya Einosa prevailed the title of The Best Presenter.
"Our struggle is demanding, however, with perseverance and collaborative spirit, we are able to show our best potential," said Ustadz Muhammad Miftah, a companion for the teams. "We hope considerable accomplishments inspire students and young people to excel in their respective fields", he concluded.
Hopefully, the prestigious success energizes other scholars to innovate and excel, both in the national and international levels. (faz/lil)
