UNISMA’s School of Medicine Grants 10 Admission Tickets for Thursina IIBS Students After Partnership Signing
Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) recently joined hands with Islamic University of Malang (UNISMA), signing a partnership agreement on January 31. This partnership underscored both institutions’ commitment to enhance their quality of education. As part of the agreement, Thursina IIBS students has begun utilizing UNISMA’s medical laboratory, marking one of their first practical collaboration.
Principal of Thursina IIBS, Ustadc Rois Haqiqi, M.Pd., declared that this partnership has the potential to improve education on both institutions. “We are so excited to utilize the laboratory at UNISMA’s school of education. This will give our students a more practical and thorough learning experience,” he said.
Though this partnership goes beyond the utilization of learning facility, it also covers other collaborative projects such as teacher exchange. Inspiring lecturers from UNISMA will have the opportunity to speak at a seminar or lecture at Thursina, imparting their academic experience for the students. This is expected to further strengthen the quality of education on both institutions.
“These partnerships is sure to give our students the opportunities to continue their studies at the most prestigious institutions all over the country. Moving forward, this will open up avenues filled with opportunities for them,” Ustadz Rois explained.
In an effort to provide a greater opportunities for the students of Thursina IIBS high school, Ustadz Rois announced that a total of 10 students will receive a golden admission ticket to UNISMA’s School of Medicine. This special admission pass give the students exemption from the usual academic assessment, requiring only a health and psychological test. This is designed to offer a special pathway for students who demonstrate extraordinary potentials in terms of health and emotional inteligence.
According to Ustadz Rois, this partnership serves as a positive step toward the improvement of the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia. “We sincerely hope that this collaboration can benefits both institutions greatly and contribute to the development of a new generation that excels academically and spiritually,” concluded Ustadz Rois optimistically.
