Building Network to Turkey, Tazkia IIBS Cooperates with Biru Marmara Education

Following sending five students to study in Turkey, Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) has started to build new network to reach wider relationship. At the meeting hall of Sorbone building in male campus, Tazkia International Affair Office (TIAO) signed a cooperation agreement with Biru Marmara Education (11/05).

The agenda was attended by the Director of TIAO, Ustadz Imam Awaludin, Ph. D, the board management of Tazkia, and the Founder of Biru Marmara Education, Doddy C. Hidayat Putra. Tazkia tries to provide more adequate supervision for students who would continue their study in Turkey.

Biru Marmara Education is one of the education consultants, especially to Turkey, firstly founded in Indonesia. The foundation has collaborated with more than ten public universities in Turkey.

The manager of TIAO, Ustadz Moh. Suhaili stated that Tazkia has projected Turkey as destined country for continuing study. Besides its muslim friendly environment and affordable living and education cost, it has numerous international students from all over the world every year, therefore students will adapt more easily.

"Also, Tazkia would like to be connected directly to universities in Turkey," he said.

Preceding the collaboration, Ustadz Suhaili revealed that the two parties have discussed the education development plan of Tazkia to continue study in Turkey higher education. It related with the supervision formula to provide to students, thus they have more chance to be accepted in Turkey public universities.

"Students will have Turkey language training since year 10 with Turkish native teacher. As they graduate, they could study in campus without following one-year language programme," says Ustadz Suhaili.

He added that Tazkia has started to prepare to be the organiser of YOS examination, entrance test of Turkish university, in Malang. In addition, it prepares Turkish Sister School programme, in which other schools could affiliate with Tazkia to send their students to Turkey, therefore they could manage the process independently.

Tazkia has begun to manage Turkish Corner as well, detailed information centre about Turkey. It is projected to be the most complete and open for public, providing information about culture, history, education, and procedure to study in Turkey.

Lastly, Ustadz Suhaili supposed that various programmes planned would encourage students to study abroad, especially in Turkey. "Hopefully, we could maintain the existing relationship to be stronger and stronger, therefore other collaborative programmes would be initiated," he concluded.
