Thursina Inspiring Education: Thursina IIBS Hosts Visit from Insan Cendekia Madani (ICM) Serpong

As an educational institution implementing three distinct curricula, Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) often serves as a model for other institutions in terms of partnership and development. On May 26, through the Thursina Inspiring Education Program, Thursina IIBS hosted a visit from faculty members of Insan Cendekia Madani (ICM) School in Serpong, Tangerang, to exchange insights on educational services.

This agenda took place in the Sorbonne Meeting Room at the Male Campus and was attended by ICM's board of managements including Mr. Muhammad Ari Ramadhan, S.E., President Director; Mr. Mohamad Husni, Lc., S.Ag, Director of Care; and Mr. Bambang Eko Nugroho, MBA, Director of Academic Affairs, along with several other key staff members.

During the visit, the President Director of ICM noted that the purpose of the trip was to evaluate the development of the Islamic boarding school, including the implementation of the Al-Azhar and Cambridge curricula, the progression of Islamic boarding school programs, and the rules and regulations for students. Additionally, the visit was also meant to strengthen the bond of friendship between the two institutions. “We are very grateful to be here. The students and teachers are all so nice, we were very warmly welcomed. Hopefully, this meeting can be a starting point for us to join hands in a partnership in the future,” he said.

Ustadz Mochammad Arief Fathurrahman, S.Pd.I., the Manager of Public Relations & Dakwah Center at Thursina, highlighted that Thursina IIBS is eager to open its door and share its insights with other institutions. The Thursina Inspiring Education program, conducted weekly with various institutions, aims to foster mutual knowledge exchange to enhance the quality of education and services at each institution.

“This program serves as a bridge for Thursina IIBS to share our knowledge and experience, and is part of our endeavor to strengthen Islamic camaraderie between institutions,” he explained.

As hosts, Thursina IIBS representatives included Ustadz Muhammad Rajab, M.Pd.I, Chief of Education; Ustadz Imam Awaludin, Lc, M.A, Ph.D., Chief of the International Office; and Ustadz Sabar Arifin, S.T., Chief of REO. The meeting was also attended by inspiring students, Raditya Pradipta Atha Rianang and Nafhah Rusydan Dzaki, who shared their learning experiences at Thursina IIBS.

Looking ahead, Ustadz Arief expressed hope that ICM’s visit to Thursina IIBS would serve as a stepping stone for future collaboration between the two institutions. “Hopefully, this kind of visit will provide a positive reinforcement for both Thursina IIBS and ICM to build synergy for the advancement of our institutions,” he concluded.
