Boosting Memory Ability, Tazkia IIBS Student Contended in East Java MHQ 2020
Maritza Rafa Muhammad, one of Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) students, has been awarded the fourth winner in Musabaqoh Hifdzil Quran (MHQ) competition for 5 juz of Al Quran in provincial level of East Java. Held by Islamic Public University (UIN) Sunan Ampel, the contest has become a trigger for other students to participate in hifdzil Quran competition.
The supervisor, Ustadz Muhammad Ibrahim Fayadl stated, the participation of Tazkia in the event is supposed to be the first step to obtain the better result. Full training has been done before the day, catching up and reviewing 5 juz daily, answering exercises, and completing verses of Quran for one another.
Female students, Alisha Puti Alana and Shakila Mukhlisa Putri, participated as well in the contest.
Besides, the participants learnt about mutasyabihat verses, similar with other verses, during preparation, in which those verses could be harder and need to be noticed more thoroughly.
The competition is a chance to encourage their achievement and fluency in reciting Al Quran, to meet other students, and to strengthen Islamic brotherhood.
"This is valuable experience for Tazkia IIBS students to promote fostering their recitations and refining their reading of Holy Quran, therefore, they could have better preparation to participate in the future competition with well-prepared skills and competences.
