Fast-paced dynamic in education field, especially from its technology must be responded properly. For this reason, Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) has signed memorandum of cooperation with Microsoft for using common software in educational institution.

This software can secure the data because it is guaranteed by Microsoft. Tazkia IIBS also owns its official license to be utilised during learning process.

The manager of Library & Communication Technology (LCT), Ustadzah Ghina Afifah, S. Kom stated, the softwares are common to use publicly, however, rarely are they authentic. "If  not original, the data or other learning support will be easily attacked by  viruses causing loss of the data," she explained.

Using reliable software is more secure therefore learning process can be better, more comfortable, and fully supported by Microsoft. In October 2019, the agreement was signed and it started to use in Tazkia.

"The purpose of this collaboration is to legalise software used  by Tazkia IIBS considering that Microsoft has the most widely-used software in education field," she added.

She revealed that Microsoft will provide a training about its software and international certification for skill related with microsoft application, valid for three years.

International certification for windows and Ms. Office also will be offered for staffs and students. Additionally, workshop for creating learning media will be held for teachers.

Legitimate license guarantees learning process in Tazkia IIBS. Ustadzah Ghina said, if the operational system is unauthorized, the legality is unclear, whether it is halal or not. "We avoid that to be blessed, though seeking for halal product is better," she ended the statement.
