Student of Tazkia IIBS Won National Arabic Speech Contest Under The Theme Loving The Country

"The more we love our country, the more we can help people," Maria Ulfa emphasized in fluent Arabic language in National Competition, held by University of Padjajaran (UNPAD), on Saturday (10/5). By the theme loving the country, she was succeed gaining the best performance, eliminating other 40 participants.

Maria Ulfa invites people not to denounce their own country. In her four-minute-speech, she told that loving the country is loving the religion. Many people are willing to devote themselves for their country.

Maria Ulfa exemplified some professionals or social communities working sincerely for their countries. "The man today is the man of tomorrow," she cited in the speech.


Student of year XI stated the action was exemplified by The Prophet. Indonesia, as the country with many cultures, tribes, and languages, is a pleasure. She pinpointed to young generation to love the country with various efforts.

"Many ways to prove to love the country. The more we love Indonesia, the more we help people," she explained.

By the theme "The Masterpiece of Arabic Archipelago Festival", Tazkia IIBS presented ten students to the contest.

There were several competitions participated by students of year XI, including calligraphy by Sada Pratiwi and Lutfiyah Azzahra,  arabic poetry by Sefira Ramadhani Wardhana, Nabila Fardina Idrus, and Aqilah Khazimah Furqan, arabic speech and quiz by Mariya Ulfa, Bilqis Izza Nafisah, Asahi Nabila Taurisia  and Nabila Trisiana Rachma and arabic singing by Hanik Setyo Asih.


Companion teacher, Ustadz Wahyu Andriansyah, Lc, told the competition held in one round after preliminaries.

"To gain the best result, it took everyday sessions for training out of academic courses," he added.

By joining in the contest, the mission of Tazkia IIBS can be manifested, especially in enhancing education quality of arabic language, thus, the language used daily could support their achievement.

"This is a proud attainment. Might this accomplishment motivate other students of Tazkia IIBS to actively participate in competitions, especially in arabic literature alike," Ustadz Wahyu hopes.
