Preparing Excellent Human Resources to Welcome Students, Thursina IIBS Holds Human Resource Development Programs

The Human Resource (HR) development programs of Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) were officially opened on April 8-13, 2025. The agendas included Halal Bihalal, trainings, unit coordinations, quarantine for making questions and final exams, and preparation for the arrival of students on Sunday (13/4).


Previously, Thursina IIBS successfully held  halal bihalal with all management team, and teacher families (8/4), presented a special guest, Habib Achmad Jamal bin Thoha Baagil. It was an opening for all series of the programs as well as strengthening islamic brotherhood around the blessed atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr celebration.


 

 

 

Ustadzah Dian Asmi Setoningsih, M.Pd as a Manager of Human Capital Development of Thursina IIBS stated the trainings have different targets of divisions. The first enrichment was "Institutional Organization Training: Educating The Whole Being", intended for teachers, murabbi/ah, education personnels, and campus staffs. The total participants were 450 staffs. It aims to understand the concept of "the whole being" within the framework of integrated Islamic education, awareness for all human resources to have active role in education process, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual understanding among divisions to support the development of students as a whole, and reviving the spirit of educational service in each line of teamwork.


 

 


 

The second training themed bullying, "Building a Positive Culture: Strategies to Instill Anti-Bullying Values ​​in Schools". The expert in the field, Ustadz Muhammad Salis Yuniardi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Ph.D, was presented for 160 murabbi/ah and teachers. "Thursina IIBS has committed to create a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning environment for all students," said Ustadzah Dian.


 

 

 

On the same day, three different forums were held as well. Two speakers,  Ustadz Ahmad Fauzi, S.T and Ustadz Rahardika, S.Pd delivered regarding "Lesson Learnt From Japan: Inspirational Sharing For Work Culture Improvement". As known, Japan and Korea are famous for their efficient, neat, disciplined, and responsible work culture. Thursina IIBS's educational visit to these developed countries, has inspired to build comfortable, clean, orderly, and excellent school environment.


 


Furthermore, Ustadz Rois Haqiqi, M.Pd and Ustadz A. Ali Syihabuddin, S.Si., M.Pd presented in the RESPECT forum: Classroom Essential Agreement for 100 academic and diniyah teachers. In the same time, training on student control management in the dormitory was held for murabbi/ah and tahfidz teachers who play a main role in accompanying, directing, and controlling the students daily. "The speakers involved Ustadz M. Rajab, M.Pd.I., Ustadz Nanang Setyobudi, S.Fil.I, and Ustadz Ahmad Fahdi, M.Pd.I," she added.


“Speak-Up Culture: Protocol for Reporting Bullying, Violations of Morality, and Theft” training, additionally, was conducted for 160 murabbi/ah and teachers.


 


Thursina IIBS is committed to build a positive culture based on Islamic values ​​and character education.  Lastly, to prevent disease, Thursina IIBS collaborated with Thursina Medical Center (TMC) to undertake fogging throughout the campus, taking preventive measure against diseases caused by mosquito larvae or mosquitoes themselves.
