Thursina IIBS Celebrates 9th Anniversary with the Spirit of Compassion
Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) marked its 9th anniversary with a series of lively celebratory events. To celebrate this milestone, Thursina’s Human Capital Management (HCM), Ustadzah Dian Asmi Setoningsih, M.Pd. shared details of the festivities which included an opening ceremony, a Fun Walk for all the students and faculties, and door-prize giveaway to add to the excitement of the event.
These events took place from December 14 2023 to January 4 2024.
One of the highlights of the anniversary was the Thursina Cup, featuring various competitions such as Futsal and Volleyball for men, archery for women, as well as badminton doubles for both men and women. This competition is a great opportunity for students and faculties to show their skills and sportsmanship.
“Hopefully this event can strengthen the camaraderie among our faculties,” she explained.
In this occasion, Thursina IIBS also held the Thursina Community Care, a humanity initiative aimed at giving back to the community. This event includes programs like social service, blood drive, mobile BPJS health service, free medical treatment, and free circumcision.
The Muhasabah and Thursina Awards were also a notable part of the celebration. During this event, Thursina IIBS gave out appreciation awards, recognizing members of the faculty for their outstanding contributions to the institution’s educational and Islamic mission.
The festivities concluded with a family gathering event, offering faculty members a chance to bond and connect on this warm and joyful occasion. Thursina IIBS’s 9th anniversary is hoped to serve as a valuable milestone, fostering a sense of unity and togetherness among its members of faculty.
