Upgrading Soft Skills, Thursina IIBS Conducts HR Development Training for All Staff Regularly

Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) has persistently committed to excel the quality of staff through development trainings for a week long. Ustadzah Dian Asmi Setoningsih, M.Pd., conveyed these programs are designed to strengthen the competence of educators, staff and murabbi/ah to promote the great vision of Thursina IIBS as excellent Islamic-based educational institution.


The main goal in HR development week was Career Path Socialization for all staff to provide understanding about the career paths as well as the competency development steps to achieve a strategic position. She emphasized, by having a clear career path, a professional and competitive work environment would be able to be built and inspire manpower to advance themselves perseveringly. "The major advantage of the Career Path is offering measurable development direction and intensifies employee loyalty," she added.

  


Furthermore, all teachers attended Stadium General: ESS & TIESEA Dissemination and Capacity Building Seminar, presented by Ustadz Helmi Pakas. He shared experiences from his involvement in Earth Space Science (ESS) and The Technology Enabled Innovation in Southeast Asia (TIESEA). Ustadzah Dian told it aims to encourage the participants to progress themselves and adopt technology in their teaching methods. "This is one of our efforts to ensure that teachers are able to keep up with technological developments and apply them productively in the learning process," she added.


Another program was AI ​​Workshop for Teachers, designed to equip them with basic knowledge about artificial intelligence (AI) and its application. It helps educators understand the potential of AI to evolve the personalization of teaching materials and classroom management. Moreover, Thursina IIBS had trained education staff with Revolutionizing Learning: Technology's Role in Education program, highlighting on the prominence contribution of technology in education, as well as how they create a supportive and constructive learning environment.

 

The following schedule was unique and special workshop, The Art of Personalized Approach to Building Students' Trust, specifically for murabbi/ah. The training discussed about how to earn trust from students through persuasive and personal approach. "Murabbi/ah's skills to understand  emotional and social needs  of students are immensely crucial in creating a safe and trusted environment in the dormitory," said Ustadzah Dian.

 

For medical staff in Thursina Medical Center, in addition, they involved in Basic Life Support (BLS) training. It equips them with basic first aid skills in emergency situations, ensuring they are able to assign appropriate and rapid action in critical medical conditions.


These comprehensive training programs are expected to advance the quality of its human resources thus they are competent to manage the challenges of the times and offer the best educational services for students. (rnw/lil)
