Focus, The Key to Success of Muchammad Rafhan, Winning The First Place in the 2025 Perbakin Cup National Shooting Championship

Muchammad Rafhan Fatih Al-Karzai, a 10th grade student of Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) won the 1st place in the 100 Meter Sporting Hunger category of PB Perbakin Cup 2025 F-Class National Shooting Championship, Head of Hunting Division, in early February (27/02). In this prestigious competition, Rafhan competed with dozens of professional shooters. Although it was his first time participating in the championship, he had high confidence and performed stunningly. Having the opportunity to shoot in the 7th place, he managed to set fine points with a total 50V, a perfect achievement showing his accuracy and consistency in aiming at the target.


The student from Magetan was given 14 bullets to be shot in two match sessions. The first session had 10 bullets, all of which hit the target perfectly (perfect score). Either in the second session: 4 bullets as a reserve, reached  impressive results.


"This is the first time I have tried a new challenge in my life. I have just started playing, and had my license in the end of 2024. I did not expect to get such surprising results on my first championship. I dedicate the triumph to my parents who introduced me to this sport," he said.


Besides focusing on the match, he took the moment as an opportunity to interact with other participants and share experiences as he thought the more you interact, the more you learn from others. He further said the main key in shooting sports is calmness, concentration, and accuracy, all of which can be done by always remembering God. "If you are not calm, the target will miss. Therefore, it is necessary to stay focused and maintain your balance." he continued.


Meanwhile, the coordinator of Sport and Art of Thursina IIBS, Ustadz Munahar Al-Amin, S.Pd., said that basically, it is crucial to promote students to develop their talents, especially in participating championships. Moreover, considering on how many sacrifices their parents have made. "One way to encourage students is to instill an attitude of determination and perseverance in practicing.  In fact, the process will never betray the results. It is vital to be known so that students appreciate all processes as learning experience," he explained.


Lastly, he hopes the accomplishment would inspire fellow of Thursina IIBS students  to achieve more. "Hopefully, they will not give up easily. We have said earlier that the win is a bonus, hard work and prayer are a must whatever the competition," he accented. (hel/lil)
